University's own test
There is no minimum grade: Comillas assesses the record of the last three years and its own entrance test, sometimes with an interview; the process is the same for foreigners. Steps: online application, document check by the Secretaría General, written tests, admission decision, enrolment. You can list up to 5 programmes in order of preference. In the 2026-2027 cycle the tests took place on 31 January 2026 and 9 May 2026 — in person, or online for those living or studying outside Spain. ICAI programmes include a physics test (answer 15 of 18 questions) and a maths test (30 questions), and the result is 35% academic record and 65% tests. English is assessed by the university's test, but a certificate may be submitted: B2 converts to a mark of 7. If your mother tongue is not Spanish you must take a Spanish test. Results arrive about 20 days later.
Test dates are known only for the 2026-2027 cycle; for the intake starting 01/09/2027 applications run from 01/10/26 to 14/04/27, check the test dates. Once you choose a route (traditional or international) you cannot change it, and a failed test cannot be retaken. Admitted students must prove they meet the legal university access requirements set by the Ministry of Education. The university neither supports nor recommends test-preparation courses.

A route for candidates from a foreign education system who studied abroad for at least the last two years (the Bachillerato years). Instead of its own tests Comillas accepts SAT for ADE programmes and SAT and PAA for the other programmes. You need an academic record equivalent to the 3rd and 4th years of ESO and the 1st year of Bachillerato, and scores are sent via College Board (DI code 12802). The SAT maximum of 1600 points is converted to the Spanish 0-10 scale.
The choice of route is final — you cannot switch to the traditional route with the university's tests later.
