International applicants enter UPV bachelor's degrees through UNEDasiss. The Russian Attestat is homologated in Spain as the Título de Bachiller; applicants from outside the EU and agreement countries need UNEDasiss accreditation plus legalisation and homologation of the certificate. The PAU is not needed; PCE exams are voluntary and raise the grade: with the school certificate alone from a non-agreement country the maximum is 6, while the maximum admission mark (nota de admisión) in Spain is 14. In the Comunitat Valenciana 4 PCE subjects are enough; UPV recommends that at least 2 of them carry a 0.2 weighting for the chosen degree. In pre-registration (preinscripción) you can list up to 20 degrees at different universities of the region in order of preference — it must be filed on time even if the accreditation is not ready yet. UPV calendar: in February — accreditation application and registration for the 1st PCE sitting (exams in May); in June — a second period and registration for the 2nd PCE sitting (in September); pre-registration from mid-June to the first week of July, until the end of July for international students; at the end of July admitted students complete enrolment (matrícula), and the year starts on 1 September.
Applicants from non-Spanish-speaking countries need Spanish at B2 level for admission (certificates from the ACLES table). Non-EU students without resident status pay double the credit price, and a student stay authorisation (estancia) does not count as residence for this purpose.
