School grades only
Graduates from non-EU countries without an agreement with Spain enter USC by homologating their attestat to the Spanish Bachiller; the Russian attestat is recognised as the Título de Bachiller. The grade after homologation is the access mark, and applicants are ranked by their average out of a maximum of 10. You can apply for a place with just the receipt of the homologation application: it counts provisionally as 5 points and is changed once homologation is resolved. The Grado en Ingeniería Informática and the Grado en Inteligencia Artificial have no special conditions or entrance tests.
In high-demand degrees the admission mark can exceed 10 points, so homologation alone may not be enough — see the PCE exams.

Entrance exams are not compulsory, but the average can be raised by up to 4 points by taking the voluntary part: through UNED for foreign-system graduates (PCE exams at UNEDasiss), or through CiUG for Galician residents. Without PCE the UNEDasiss grade falls between 5 and 6. Up to 6 PCE subjects can be taken; non-EU applicants without agreements are advised to take at least four on their first application. Then comes pre-registration (preinscripción) with CiUG through the Nerta system: Galicia's public universities form a single district.
Only exams from the calendar year of the session count. In 2026 PCE applications were accepted from 16 March to 28 April (May/June session) and from 1 to 22 July (September session); check next year's dates. New students get Galicia's 99% discount on credits passed at first enrolment if, for example, they passed the compulsory part of the CiUG-run PAU in a 2026 sitting; others get it from the following year as continuing students. Whether this applies to foreigners without residence — check with the university.
